Geraldine Fitzpatrick, Developing People & Culture

My Approach

“I help people shape their good professional life, and create supportive workplace cultures through transpersonal leadership skills and enabling institutional policies and processes.

To make a difference and acheive the best results,  my interactive participatory approaches are tailored to the context, based on science, and draw on a diverse international career in different sectors.

I bring my personal strengths of empathy, curiosity, perspective, perseverance, the ability to synthesise on the fly and to inspire. And I believe in people and their innate wisdom and desire to do good in the world.

Creating Environments
where People can Thrive

Developing people: Helping people shape their great work based on knowing themselves better and making choices better aligned with their values, using their strengths and making a difference.

Developing leaders: to create collaborative, compassionate and productive environments in which people can develop their potential and thrive, promoting ‘excellence in context’.

Developing teams: that value diversity and inclusion and work effectively together.

Creating supportive institutional policies and practices: that prioritise wellbeing, promote sustainable ‘excellence in context’ enabled by inclusive structures, policies, strategies that develop positive constructive work environments and that value diversity of contributions and career paths.

Shaping policy and strategy: by contributing to discussions at national and international levels to drive change particularly towards more sustainable academic cultures and research evaluation practices.

Geraldine has a deep understanding of how to enable people to bring their best selves to work, supported by great leaders and by collegial workplace cultures and practices.
